Waverly guitar tuners, butterbean knobs, for solid headstock, 3L/3R, nickel
The choice of pros.
Waverly tuners have been the choice of some of the most renowned luthiers and boutique guitar brands for years: Santa Cruz Guitars, Collings, Martin, Huss & Dalton, Bourgeois, Gibson, Breedlove, Galloup Guitars, Larrivée... the list goes on and on.
These tuning machines have a steel baseplate with the authentic 30s footprint, and feature stainless steel worm gear with nylon bushings and machined bronze alloy string post gear for ultra smooth tuning; the "Butterbean" knobs are solid brass and not die-cast, and they have the historically correct shape, so they can be used to replace worn tuners on a vintage guitar (they're also available in relic nickel finish).
- 16:1 gear ratio
- 1/4" diameter brass tapered string posts
- steel baseplate
Shipped with hex bushings for 11/32"(8,73mm) mounting holes, conversion bushings are available for installing these tuners into larger Gotoh, Grover or Schaller mounting holes; vintage-style slotted mounting screws are also included.
For the moment we only have the nickel finish version in stock, but these tuners are also available in gold or relic nickel finish: don't hesitate to contact us for more information!
